On 13 th August, the Rotaract Club of Usha Pravin Gandhi College held an event
called “Zoom Barabar”. The goal was to get people moving and active during
the Pandemic and the subsequent Lockdown. Zoom Barabar had 51
participants involved, with everyone following along and getting into the grove
of the music. The Zumba instructor, Sanaya Shroff, played a mix of Bollywood
and Contemporary music- something every participant could enjoy.
Sanaya Shroff is a prominent member of the Zumba industry and has
partnered with luxury gym’s to instruct. This showed in her work ethic and
enthusiasm which could be felt even through the screen. A few of the most
active participants received certificates from the Rotaract team. After the cool
down session, President Hetal Ghatad provided Sanaya with a memento on
behalf of Team Rotaract, and the event ended with everyone gleefully active
and energised.
