The heart was open to students of all streams and included faculty participation as
well.
The event was commenced with a warm welcome by Garima Datta, the head
of PR. It was followed by a speech by the co-Chairperson of Techvanza, Aesha
Shah. Since online is the “new normal” it took a tad bit of adjusting at the
beginning, but gradually the pace was matched!
The talented performers sang, recited poetry, and even presented the
audience with a puppet show! UPGs dearest professor Sri Ram Deshpande
performed a medley of old songs while playing the harmonium.
The Techvanza Committee also made an announcement that they’ll be taking
international participants for their upcoming events.
As one of the first college events held over an online platform, it was
conducted smoothly and proper preparations took place to ensure the event
was smooth sailing.
