The entrepreneurship cell of UPG organises an event providing you with an

opportunity to feel like an entrepreneur for 2 days.

It consists of a variety of impressive stalls put up by the students ranging from

fluid art workshops to fun ones with loads of games and delicious food.

One of the stall holders, Devki, has shared her beautiful experience.

She stated, “it was thrilling to see so many people coming together to create

something so beautiful. We didn’t expect such a huge footfall for a book stall

like hours, but surprisingly, we were 70% sold out within hours of the first day.

We even had to get many of our bookmark designs reprinted. There was a

plethora of stalls around us- desserts, sandwiches, momo's, stationary items,

you just have to name it. Some of them even gave us free food just for being

their neighbors. There was a healthy competition between neighboring

stalls, especially the ones selling similar items.”

She also added, “we made mic announcements, announced price drops, even

yelled and stole a few customers all in the name of marketing. It was so much

fun being an entrepreneur for a day. The best part of it was the ambiance. The

non stop soothing music made us cry a bit less about our aching legs. At the

end of the last day, it struck us that we were sold out. When it was time to

return our borrowed chairs and benches, all that stayed with us were beautiful

memories and a promise of coming back here in a year.”
